About Kareem
Kareem Ghosheh is a Palestinian artist, born in Jerusalem in 1992. He worked in the field of theater at an early age, which gave him experience in scenography and theater techniques. He learned performing arts at the Palestinian National Theater (Al-Hakawati), and later continued with the Italian Theater Organization. Karim mastered drama and theater training and became a performing arts coach. He is also a puppet maker, and a professional percussionist and oud player, and has participated in several performances, including the Sabreen Band, the Basta Theater, and the Hala Band. Kareem also works as a light designer and sound technician for plays and cooperated with many known organazations, theatres, and bands.
Theatrical Performances
Kareem is a multidisciplinary theatre practitioner who has written and performed in various independent and ensemble productions. His work spans acting, playwriting, and collaborative theatrical creations.
Workshops & Training
Kareem has designed and conducted numerous workshops and training sessions across a wide range of artistic disciplines. His expertise spans various aspects of theatre, including performance, scriptwriting, and shadow theatre, as well as puppet making and music. Through these workshops, he has engaged with diverse audiences, from aspiring artists to professional performers, fostering creativity, technical skills, and storytelling techniques.
Capacity Building
Kareem has trained over 30 groups of students, youth, teachers, and adults in various artistic disciplines, including theatre, puppet making, and percussion. His training programs are designed to cultivate creative expression, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of performance arts.
Puppet Making
Kareem has extensive experience in puppet making, employing a variety of techniques and materials, including sponge, wood, paper, cardboard, and clay. His craftsmanship encompasses both traditional and experimental approaches, allowing him to create puppets with intricate details and dynamic movement, tailored for theatrical performances and storytelling.
